Nigerian Dwarf Bucks, the backbone of the herd. One of the most important members of the herd is the foundation Sire. First of all, the Sire brings half of the genetics for the entire Nigerian Dwarf Goat herd. In order to get a great herd off the ground you have to choose well, and we did!
Here at Seven Gables Farm, we are looking to bring Strong Milk Lines, Breed Conformity, and Parasite Resistance to our herd.
We have begun our herd on strong foundations here in Hardy Virginia. The Seven Gables Nigerian Dwarf Goats are registered in the Genetic Improvement Program with the American Dairy Goat Association. As a result, we enjoy improved genetics with healthy, and highly productive goats. Above all, we take immense pride in our herd of Nigerian Dwarfs. He has produced a number of healthy beautiful kids all stamped with his golden looks and strong milky lines. In addition, his daughters all have beautiful easy milking udders with large teats. As a result, he earned his +B as a two-year-old, all from first freshener daughters easily earning their milk stars.

He boasts a lineage that stands alone! His grand-dam is a USDA Elite Doe (99th Percentile) with the highest Living Predicted Transmitting Ability (PTA Milk +308) and the 2nd highest All-Time!! Zip Me Up shines on the ADGA Performance Breed Leaders Top 10 List with standings in Milk (#1), Butterfat (#5) & Protein Production (#3) multiple years running.
